About Health Workforce Canada

Health Workforce Canada was established in 2023 to strengthen health workforce data and planning to ensure health workers are there to provide the care people need. With our partners, we are bringing together health workforce experts and those in the health care field to learn from each other and to create a cost-effective and sustainable health care system. The ultimate goal is to help ensure health workers are there to provide the care people in Canada need. We have already made significant progress in engaging stakeholders, sharing dynamic health workforce data dashboards, and advancing health human resource modelling and forecasting.

Current Work Opportunities

We welcome interest from individuals who are passionate about implementing health workforce systems-level change in a multi-disciplinary environment, and to those who want experience working in a health organization that operates at the pan-Canadian level.

Work for Health Workforce Canada will be done virtually with the understanding that in-person team meetings will be held up to four times per year, for a maximum of three consecutive days. Some travel will be required to attend the in-person team meetings, and some travel may be required to meet with key stakeholders from time to time.
