Our first pop-up session to focus on retaining new health care graduates

Health Workforce Canada is excited to be hosting our first virtual pop-up session, where we will bring together health care partners from across the country to learn from each other about best practices, challenges, and successes in the Canadian health workforce. Our first pop-up session will focus on retaining new health care graduates and will be hosted on Wednesday, May 22nd from 12-1pm EST (9-10am PST).

We’re partnering with Rob Paquin (nurse and researcher), who will share innovative practices implemented at Providence Health Care in Vancouver. There, senior leaders are working with frontline staff to develop resources and make decisions based on frontline views and feedback.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from and work with colleagues from across the country, engage in an interactive activity, and bring back tangible learnings to their own workplace.

This session is open to all, with an emphasis on health care students, workers, managers, and executives. We look forward to learning and collaborating!

Please note that this pop-up has a capacity of 75 participants to support collaboration and discussion. We encourage you to sign up early, and if you can no longer attend, please contact kharrell@healthworkforce.ca.
