Il s\u2019agit de pressions importantes, certes, mais qui cr\u00e9ent aussi un espace pour de nouvelles id\u00e9es et la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes en mode collaboratif.<\/p><p>C\u2019est dans ce contexte que s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e la s\u00e9ance de cl\u00f4ture de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nement Effectif de la sant\u00e9 Canada Ensemble pour la sant\u00e9\u202f2025, o\u00f9 les personnes participantes s\u2019\u00e9taient r\u00e9unies avec un engagement commun\u202f: explorer comment l\u2019intelligence artificielle (IA) peut renforcer les gens et les syst\u00e8mes au c\u0153ur des soins de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3b03694 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3b03694\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La s\u00e9ance s\u2019est ouverte sur une allocution de <strong>Janette\u202fHughes<\/strong>, directrice de la planification et de la performance au Scotland\u2019s Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (centre \u00e9cossais d\u2019innovation en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 et de soins num\u00e9riques). Originaire d\u2019un pays pr\u00e9sentant d\u2019importants parall\u00e8les avec le Canada\u202f\u2012 notamment les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s rurales, les syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 publique et les pressions exerc\u00e9es sur la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre \u2012 Mme\u202fHughes a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 l\u2019IA comme un \u00e9l\u00e9ment n\u00e9cessaire et in\u00e9vitable des soins de sant\u00e9 modernes. Outre l\u2019innovation technologique, ces initiatives ont donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des avantages concrets pour les patients et les prestataires, notamment une r\u00e9duction des admissions \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital, une diminution de la dur\u00e9e du s\u00e9jour, une am\u00e9lioration de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et un renforcement de la confiance du personnel m\u00e9dical.<\/p><p>Un th\u00e8me r\u00e9current s\u2019est d\u00e9gag\u00e9 dans tous les cas\u202f: <em>L\u2019IA r\u00e9ussit seulement lorsque les gens sont au centre de la conception et de la prise de d\u00e9cision.<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Voix canadiennes, r\u00e9alit\u00e9s canadiennes <\/strong><\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s l\u2019allocution d\u2019ouverture, un groupe d\u2019experts a orient\u00e9 la discussion vers les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s des syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 du Canada.<\/p><p><strong>Elizabeth\u202fBorycki<\/strong>, Ph.\u202fD., professeure et directrice du Global Laboratory for Digital Health Innovation (laboration mondial pour l\u2019innovation en sant\u00e9 num\u00e9rique) de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Victoria, a soulign\u00e9 le besoin croissant de comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques dans les professions de la sant\u00e9.<\/p><p>Dans un contexte o\u00f9 plus de 1,8\u202fmillion de personnes travaillent dans le secteur de la sant\u00e9 au Canada, elle a soulign\u00e9 que l\u2019adoption de l\u2019IA d\u00e9pend autant des \u00e9ducateurs et des professionnels de l\u2019informatique que du personnel m\u00e9dical. Les \u00e9tudiants d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui apprennent en classe les outils fond\u00e9s sur l\u2019IA, et la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre de demain s\u2019attendra \u00e0 les trouver au chevet des patients. Parall\u00e8lement, le personnel en place a besoin de perfectionnement, d\u2019une orientation claire et d\u2019un soutien pour \u00e9valuer de mani\u00e8re critique les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019IA, tenir avec les patients des conversations sur les outils num\u00e9riques et g\u00e9rer les consid\u00e9rations \u00e9thiques et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des technologies \u00e9mergentes.<\/p><p>Ses observations ont renforc\u00e9 un message cl\u00e9\u202f: l\u2019int\u00e9gration r\u00e9ussie de l\u2019IA n\u00e9cessite un investissement soutenu non seulement dans la technologie, mais aussi dans les gens, y compris les programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes, la formation et les \u00e9ducateurs qui fa\u00e7onnent la pratique.<\/p><p>Ensuite, <strong>Hamidreza\u202fEslami<\/strong>, Ph.\u202fD., responsable du d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019IA \u00e0 Fraser Health, a parl\u00e9 du rapprochement entre la th\u00e9orie et la mise en \u0153uvre en premi\u00e8re ligne.<\/p><p>Il a d\u00e9crit ce qu\u2019il faut vraiment pour que l\u2019IA fonctionne dans un syst\u00e8me complexe, et l\u2019id\u00e9e fausse selon laquelle le succ\u00e8s repose sur les experts en science des donn\u00e9es. Au contraire, il a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019une approche int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me d\u2019IA, d\u00e9crivant une base de composants interd\u00e9pendants n\u00e9cessaires pour que l\u2019IA fonctionne dans les soins de sant\u00e9\u202f: l\u2019infrastructure, les gens, les professions, la gouvernance, les partenariats et la confiance.<\/p><p>Il a parl\u00e9 de deux succ\u00e8s; des outils \u00e9labor\u00e9s en collaboration, rigoureusement test\u00e9s et soigneusement mis en \u0153uvre\u202f:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Outil pr\u00e9dictif pour les cong\u00e9s de l\u2019h\u00f4pital\u202f:<\/strong><br \/>Un mod\u00e8le d\u2019IA qui analyse les donn\u00e9es cliniques en temps r\u00e9el pour pr\u00e9dire quels patients sont susceptibles de sortir de l\u2019h\u00f4pital dans les 24\u202fheures. Il a permis d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la planification des sorties, de r\u00e9duire la dur\u00e9e du s\u00e9jour et de r\u00e9aliser d\u2019importantes \u00e9conomies, non pas en rempla\u00e7ant le personnel m\u00e9dical, mais en lui fournissant plus rapidement des renseignements de meilleure qualit\u00e9.<\/li><li><strong>Assistant d\u2019apprentissage d\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative\u202f:<\/strong><br \/>Un outil conversationnel con\u00e7u pour aider le personnel \u00e0 adopter un nouveau syst\u00e8me de dossiers m\u00e9dicaux \u00e9lectroniques. L\u2019introduction de l\u2019IA dans les soins de sant\u00e9 exige un nouveau type de leadership\u202f: opini\u00e2tre, curieux, collaboratif et r\u00e9silient.<\/p><p><strong>Unir tous les efforts\u202f: un avenir fond\u00e9 sur la collaboration <\/strong><\/p><p>Un message est ressorti clairement de l\u2019ensemble des interventions\u202f: l\u2019IA dans la planification de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre en sant\u00e9 et la prestation des soins n\u2019a pas pour but de remplacer le personnel de sant\u00e9, mais de lui donner les moyens d\u2019agir.<\/p><p>De l\u2019innovation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du syst\u00e8me en \u00c9cosse aux mises en \u0153uvre locales et aux pratiques de leadership \u00e9mergentes au Canada, la s\u00e9ance a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que l\u2019IA peut amplifier les capacit\u00e9s humaines, soutenir une planification plus efficace de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre et cr\u00e9er de l\u2019espace pour que les prestataires fassent le travail qu\u2019ils sont les seuls \u00e0 pouvoir faire.<\/p><p>Mais elle a \u00e9galement confirm\u00e9 que le succ\u00e8s de l\u2019IA d\u00e9pend de nous\u202f\u2012 de notre volont\u00e9 de remettre en question les hypoth\u00e8ses, de bousculer les mod\u00e8les traditionnels, d\u2019instaurer la confiance, d\u2019investir dans les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques et de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer la collaboration au cloisonnement.<\/p><p>Comme le dit Janette\u202fHughes, \u00ab\u202fl\u2019IA n\u2019est pas pr\u00e8s de dispara\u00eetre.
